Raven Reid
Indigenous folk singer songwriter Raven Reid was born in Yellowknife, NWT with genealogical ties to Mikisew First Nation, Alberta. She started writing short stories at the age of 6 and taught herself how to play the guitar in later years. As a self-taught musician, turning her poems and short stories into music was a natural progression into becoming the performer that she is today.
Eliza Mary Doyle
When Eliza Doyle’s car broke down in Nashville in 2015, she found herself happily stuck in Music City. The venerable Saskatchewan banjo player and singer/songwriter had stopped in to see a festival and ended up enjoying an extended stay, playing in bars and meeting all manner of talented musicians. Having been on sabbatical to follow her muse anyway, it seemed like fate urging her to keep on the well-worn path to musical fulfillment.
Tommy John Ehman
Born and raised in Saskatchewan, Tommy is faithful to his rural roots in his music and in his life. With six studio albums and a handful of single recordings to his credit, Tommy has had multiple radio singles that cracked the top 100 country music charts, several Saskatchewan Country Music Award nominations, a long, long list of live performances that include opening for Doc Walker and Michelle Wright, among others, and ten years as a full-time touring musician.
Fabian Minnema
Gracing Saskatchewan stages for many years, Fabian Minnema first made an impact on the Western Canadian music scene with Johnny Grit, an indie-surf-rock band that shared the stage with many Canadian artists, including legendary Blues guitarist David Wilcox. After releasing two full-length albums, Johnny Grit morphed into Make Liars, a powerhouse trio that were regulars with the Saskatchewan International Jazz Festival, along with popular Saskatchewan venues such as Lydia’s and Bud’s in Saskatoon and Lancaster’s and McNally’s in Regina.
Putt Putt's Garage
In the Village of Borden a rock 'n roll odyssey unfolded. In May 2019, Jamie Brandrick, fueled by Borden spirit, committed to a local music festival in 80 days with no band in tow. Enter Andrew Hess on drums and Ross McBain on bass, musicians crafting strings and beats that firmly established the rhythm section for this small-town band. Kendal Redhead, the village's vocal virtuoso, joined as lead singer. Geoff McBain, a lead guitar maestro hailing from nearly Dalmeny, completed the ensemble.
Back Yard Blues Band
Do we have any classic rock n roll and blues fans out there? You are in for a treat because we have none other than Mr. Mario Valens visiting all the way from San Jose, California. Mario happens to be from the famous rock ‘n’ roll Valens family. Mario is none other than Ritchie Valens younger brother. You might remember Ritchie Valens from the 1950s as he was the famous rock ‘n’ roll artist who sang the song La Bamba, and even had a movie done about his life starring Lou Diamond Phillips. The Backyard Blues Band is Mario Valens on harp and vocals, Mike Baldwin on guitar and vocals .
Punch Drunk Cabaret
Punch Drunk Cabaret is an award winning, festival favourite that specializes in rockabilly swing for the 21st century. Their signature steampunk style combines vintage rockabilly swing with modern, stadium-rock energy, resulting in an unforgettable show that leaves the audience feeling as if Stray Cats, Green Day, and Tom Waits were on the same bill.
Folky Strum Strum
Folky Strum Strum is a musical concept that started in 2004 Raised from the soul fires of North Eastern BC and have been playing professionally for over ten years. The creation of Folky started with Iyan Bruvold as the singer-songwriter, vocalist, guitar and a few years later, complimented with the banjo.
Black Suit Devil
With a tongue-in-cheek name meant to pique the curiosity and a tenacious DIY approach, Black Suit Devil has been spreading inspiration and awareness through music since 2015. A Solo project led by Singer/Songwriter Andy Du Rego of Toronto, Ontario whose style has been likened to that of Ray LaMontagne, Tom Waits, and Chris Cornell.
Christopher & the Saints
Christopher & the Saints are a trio from Saskatoon, SK on beautiful Treaty Six Territory. Starting life as the Christopher James Vasseur band, the sound evolved as did the line up. It morphed and bloomed into the base trio of Peter Abonyi (Lead Guitar), Nicholas Chelsom McCormick (Bass) and CJV (Vocals and Guitar).
Harrison Sisters
Growing up in Whelan, Saskatchewan Mercy & Autumn Harrison have enjoyed a life on the farm. Though it’s not always been easy, they have learned valuble life lessons about hard work and perseverance. These two songbirds couldn’t be different in personality, but are both extremely passionate about their music. Singing covers of their favourite songs, these up-and-coming artists have started writing some of their own music amd lyrics creating a style of their own.

Inspired by Pop sensations Celine Dion and the late Selena, it is Country Music where Teagan found her comfort zone.
Josh Stumpf
Born and raised in Saskatchewan, Josh’s blood is pure prairie. Stumpf is a new generation of country singer, with the likes of Chris Stapleton, Morgan Wallen, and Cody Johnson as heavy influences. Just like those who influence Josh’s music, there is no one style of country Stumpf finds himself drawn to writing. From two-step 80’s style to outlaw country and then country rock. An multi-genre writer, but always authentic.
Drew Derksen
Drew Derksen was born and raised in North East Saskatchewan where he developed a love for music at a very young age. Pictures and videos can be seen of Drew playing guitar as young as 3 years old! Drew started his first band Flatline with a few buddies at 13 years old, joined a new band called Final Warning at 15, started another band called Shockwave at 26 and began writing and recording Country Rock music as Drew Derksen in 2022.

Western Medicine is a recent collaboration with Ray Elliott ,Shannon Elizabeth , Stevie Brown ,Wyndham Thiessen and Lucas Goetz .Recorded with Ryan Andersen in Saskatoon winter 2023. A stripped down country folk album ready for release in July of 2024. Acoustic Guitar , Cello , pedal steel and vocals .A completely different take on Saskatchewan country folk.
Kory Istace vs The Time Pirates
Kory Istace Vs The Time Pirates have established themselves as one of the most prolific bands in Saskatchewan. Their affinity for genre exploration is self-evident throughout their discography. there are resonances of country, bluegrass, folk, blues, rock, and doo-wop. The songwriting and delivery of Kory is a strong highlight of a talented group.
