Folky Strum Strum

Folky Strum Strum is a musical concept that started in 2004 Raised from the soul fires of North Eastern BC and have been playing professionally for over ten years. The creation of Folky started with Iyan Bruvold as the singer-songwriter, vocalist, guitar and a few years later, complimented with the banjo. Iyan has played with many friends over the years and now Folky includes the greats of Brin Porter on bass and Danny Bell on percussion, plus many more included along the way! Folky is excited to be burning down the road again this year with their new album called “ Outside the Insides Outside” which has been marinating in the studio for the past ten years and the result really is like going back through chapters of the past ten years. Folky Strum Strum is more than excited to share the experience!!
