Teagan Littlechief

Teagan Littlechief is a proud Cree woman from the White Bear First Nations north of Carlyle, Saskatchewan. Teagan's passion for singing has been part of her since she was a small child. Inspired by Pop sensations Celine Dion and the late Selena, it is Country Music where Teagan found her comfort zone. Those early influences of Celine and Selena can still be heard today through Teagan's powerhouse vocals, and lack of fear to hit those high notes others fear to. Teagan's powerful voice was recognized early in her career, and she was quickly racking up #1 songs on the Indigenous Canadian Charts. Her first #1 in 2013 and her second in 2015. Under direction of renowned Artist Rep Deborah Wood (Michelle Wright) Teagan opened for acts such as Emerson Drive, played Casino's, and played many Festivals, Bow Valley Jamboree Music Festival, Muskoday Music Festive, Craven, and Country Thunder to name a few. Teagan has played one of the largest stages in Canada; the 109th Canadian Grey Cup. Not only did Teagan sing the National Anthem, but she also made history singing the Anthem in 3 languages: English, French and Cree. Her performance created a flood of social media attention and mainstream attention. A simple X formerly known as Twitter search will bring up a post shared by the CFL, TSN, Teagan is a well-known Anthem singer for the Saskatchewan Roughriders. Her incredible voice led to the National spotlight not just on Teagan but on her White Bear Nations Band as she sang the National Anthem at the 109th Grey Cup Championship game for the 2022 season in Regina SK, in English, French, and Cree. “I’m so thrilled and grateful for the opportunity to showcase Indigenous language & culture at the Grey Cup in my home province.”-Teagan Littlechief Littlechief is a passionate advocate for bringing awareness to Domestic Abuse and the effects of Substance abuse. Since 2017 Teagan has been combining her 2 passions, music and bringing awareness to these issues together through Motivational Speaking. Teagan shares her personal story, of triumph, with the goal of inspiring at least one person in the room to realize "they can rise above"
